Mai Lisa Guinoo

Mai Lisa Guinoo (b.1990) is a dancer from Bergen. She is a graduate of the Oslo National Academy of the Arts with a BA in classical ballet from 2009. After graduating, she joined Carte Blanche as an apprentice.

In 2010, Mai Lisa moved to Barcelona and joined the junior company IT Dansa and in 2012 she joined Rambert Dance Company in London.

From 2013 until 2023, she danced with Göteborgs Operans Danskompani in Sweden under the directorship of Adolphe Binder & Katrin Hall.

During Mai Lisa’s career, she worked with various choreographers such as Sharon Eyal, Damien Jalet, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Saburo Teshigawara, Ohad Naharin, Alexander Ekman, Imre & Marne Van Opstal, Constanza Macras, Michael Keegan Dolan, Stijn Celis, Roy Assaf & Anton Lackhy to name a few.

In 2018 and 2020, Mai Lisa took a leave of absence from the Gothenburg Opera to work as a freelancer, where she worked with Alan Lucien Øyen’s “Winter Guests”, Nagelhus Schia Productions, Felix Landerer, Moritz Ostruschnjak & Carte Blanche.

Besides working as a dancer, Mai Lisa has taught around Norway & Sweden.

In 2021, she received her Yoga Alliance teacher certification.

Mai Lisa joined Carte Blanche in 2023.
