Olha Mykolayivna Stetsyuk
Olha Mykolayivna Stetsyuk, born in Ukraine, is a performance artist based in Norway. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern and Physical Theatre from Fontys Institute of the Arts (2011) and previously studied at Codarts in Rotterdam and the National College of the Arts in Ukraine. Olha has worked with companies such as Johannes Wieland Company, Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, Carte Blanche, Dans Group Amsterdam, and Project Sally Collective. She worked with Carte Blanche from 2017 to 2021 and has now rejoined the company, eager to bring fresh energy to its artistic community.
She has collaborated with choreographers including François Chaignaud, Alban Richard, Johannes Wieland, Krisztina de Châtel, Andonis Foniadakis, Ronald Wintjes, Johan Greben & Uri Ivgi, Rami Be’er, and Eddy Becquart.
In 2021, she explored physical theatre and performance techniques through experimental works like The Thieves, RAMP, and …so, what is it?. As a performer and creator, Olha challenges the boundaries of movement and narrative. She worked with Carte Blanche from 2017 to 2021 and has now rejoined the company, eager to bring fresh energy to its artistic community. In addition to her work with Carte Blanche, Olha develops her own projects, delving into movement art, video, and sound.
