Carte Blanche invites you to “Open House” from the 27th – 31st of March
Get to know us and what happens behind the closed doors at Studio Bergen, Nøstegaten 119.
We invite dancers of all levels to participate at classes, workshops and conversations.
All of the events are free, but due to limited spaces for some of the events, we kindly ask for you to sign up by emailing line@ncb.no

9.30-10.45 Open Ballet Class with Robert Hewitt   (for professional dancers & dancers with some experience)
11.00-13.30 Workshop with Rehearsal Director Susanna Recchia 
The workshop will look at the relation between the moving body and objects. We will focus on tactility, imagination and group composition while considering objects and materials as part of the moving landscape that we create and transform (for professional dancers)

14.15- 16.15 Workshop with the Technical Team in Studio Bergen. 
Come meet the technical team at Carte Blanche for a 2hr session. Here you will learn more about the world of BIRGET seen through a techs perspective.

11.00-13.00 Morning Workshop with CB dancer Timothy Bartlett (open for professional dancers)
A creative worksgop that explores elements of physical theatre whilst researching how different spaces can influence physical material.
14.00-15.30 Conversation facilitated by CB dancers  Irene Theisen & Aslak Aune Nygård (closed event)
14.15-16.15 Workshop: introduction to contemporary dance based on BIRGET led by CB dancers Nadege & Tilly

Join us in a conversation and joint reflection upon the role of a dancer. How do we exercise and experience the ownershop of performances where we contribute as co-creative performers?All participants are invited to contribute in a joint round-table discussion.
*The conversation will be held in English
*Title is borrowed from Tanz Kongress Mainz 2022, and continues on topics that appeared in the panel discussion there.Open for all.
