Mathias Stoltenberg

Mathias Stoltenberg (b. 1989) is from Oslo and has a BA in dance from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts. Ever since his graduation in 2011, Mathias has been employed as a dancer in Carte Blanche. In addition to his involvement in Carte Blanche, he has been part of productions in the free dance arts field in Norway, including the Critics' Award-winning performance "We Come In Peace" by Helgebostad / Johannesdottis / Lauvdal / Floen / Theisen and "Alt Nå" by Eivind Seljeseth.

In addition to his work as a dancer, Mathias has experience as a union representative for the dancers in Carte Blanche.  He also sat on the (NoDa) Norwegian Dance Artists’ grand board and was an editorial member of the NoDa member magazine. He is now on the Scholarship Committee for Dance Artists in the Statens Kunstnerstipend.
