The Norwegian national company for contemporary dance, Carte Blanche, is looking for dancers with a high level of contemporary dance techniques and performance skills for positions starting in August 2023.

Carte Blanche wants to be a diverse company that reflects the population in terms of gender, functional ability, and cultural and ethnic background. Therefore, we encourage all qualified candidates to apply.

We are looking for:
Experienced dancers
with a minimum of 3-years post-education and professional experience in creative and dynamic processes. We appreciate individuality, strong performance skills, and artistic integrity. The working language is English.
Apprentices (younger than 24 years)
with relevant experience in creative and dynamic processes. We appreciate individuality, strong performance skills, and artistic integrity. The working language is English.

About Carte Blanche
Carte Blanche was established in 1989 in Bergen, a city on the west coast of Norway. From its home base Studio Bergen the company tours both in Norway and abroad. The ensemble consists of 14 dancers from all over the world. Each season we produce one to two new creations in collaboration with new talent and known choreographers.
Carte Blanche has worked with choreographers and artists such as Francois Chaignaud, Frédérick Gravel, Lia Rodrigues, and Pedro Gómez-Egaña.
The company is touring with performances by choreographers Eszter Salamon, Lander Patrick, and Roza Moshtaghi, and producing a new work by Elle Sofe Sara and Joar Nango for spring 2023.
